What are Brand Labels and Why do I Need Them?
Leave your mark on everything you make with a custom brand label. Big or small, the key purpose is to advertise you or your brand however you want it to look.
Simply put, brand labels identify who made the product. They’re so important that you’ll hear the terms “brand” and “label” used interchangeably to reference designers and companies. You’ll find brand labels on almost every item of clothing, toy, and soft furnishing that you own. High-quality clothing labels give even the most modest makers an opportunity to add an air of professionality, and are absolutely necessary for anyone selling items in any retail environment.
Brand labels, including custom neck labels, are an extension of both the garment and your brand’s identity, so get creative with them. There are a few things to consider when designing them: what items the label will go on, the placement of the label, and what information you want to convey.
Brand labels can appear anywhere on a garment, but the most common places are inside at the back of the neck for tops, and back waist or a side seam for bottoms. Sometimes brand labels will also be attached outside the garment at a seam or hem, or even placed as a patch for high visibility.
