Care & content labels are usually printed. Custom printed labels are quick to produce, cost-efficient, and most importantly, are the easiest to read (especially when they contain detailed text and symbols). Since your care label will be on the inside of a garment and likely against the skin, make sure to choose a material that is soft such as a satin weave, so that it won't be irritating to the wearer.
Printed care & content labels usually use a polyester or cotton base label, and should be printed with high-quality inks to withstand repeated laundering.
